HUNT COUNTY FAIR TRACTOR PULL RESULTS

Hunt County Fair LSGTPA Tractor Pull Results

The Texas thunder storms rolled out of the Hunt County Fair grounds, just as the Lone Star Garden Tractor Pullers Association teams rolled into Greenville, Texas.  Because of the rain,  the 200' pulling track required some last minute maintenance before Friday nights pull, but the show must go on and so did the pull.  After the opening ceremonies, which included an outstanding performance of the National Anthem by Amber Carrington, the Youth Class pullers took the stage.  Kody Langham took top honors in the class, followed by Lane Duncan aboard the 'Texas T-Rex' tractor.  Katyn Yarborough placed her tractor in the third place position, with Cassidy Bramlett following in fourth.  Korben Colley-Greer made his LSGTPA pulling debut, recording a top five finish, with Jared Stephan rounding out the top of the field.

In Stock, Claude Lewis pulled his way to the top, followed by Skeet Degner and Kolby Langham.  Steve McCarley placed fourth with Alton Degner posting a top five finish.  In Big Stock, it was Shawn Aufdenkamp taking the win and Patrick Bramlett scoring the runner-up.  Kolby Langham placed his tractor in the third place position, followed by Todd Hickerson and Len Hickerson.  Keith Pope rounded out the top of the field of Stock Class tractors.  Stock Altered saw Shawn Aufdenkamp taking the win over Ken Langham, Jr.   The Super Stock Class belonged to Ken Langham's wild Cub Cadet entry.
The Motorcycle engine powered tractor class saw Steve Pierce taking the title, over runner-up Todd Hickerson.  In Outlaw, John Aufdenkamp took the class title over Todd Hickerson.

As the action moved to the Mini Rod class, the fans saw Thomas Kimmons taking the title.  Jerry Toland placed his 'Shinin Time' tractor in second, with James Moody taking third place.  Sarah Moody drove her turbo diesel powered tractor to a fourth place finish.  The wild Super Rod class tractors closed Fridays show, with James Moody taking the win with two 'Full Pulls' on the 200 foot long track.  In the closest finish of the year, Randall Moody placed his tractor in second, recording one 'Full Pull' of 200' and one pull of 199.99', less than an inch away from forcing a pull off.  Donny Mayo placed his tractor in the third place position, with Jerry Toland and Tyler McCarley rounding out the field.

Saturday nights show featured a much improved track, and once again began with an incredible presentation of the National Anthem by Amber Carrington.  The Youth Class pullers started the competition, and saw Kody Langham repeating Friday nights performance with another win.  Aidan Hovind placed his 'Yes Deere' John Deere tractor in second, with the 'Texas T-Rex' tractor of Lane Duncan scoring a third place finish.  Korben Colley-Greer turned in a fourth place finish, in his debut weekend, followed by Katyn Yarborough in fifth.  Jared Stephan and Cassidy Bramlett rounded out the Youth Class tractors.

Skeet and Alton Degner finished first and second in the Stock Class, with Claude Lewis scoring a third place finish.  Steve McCarley placed fourth with Kolby Langham landing in the fifth spot.  In Big Stock, John and Shawn Aufdenkamp finished one-two, with Patrick Bramlett scoring a third place finish.  Kolby Langham placed fourth, with Keith Pope scoring a fifth place finish.  The Stock Altered Class belonged to Shawn Aufdenkamp, in a repeat of Friday nights win.  Ken Langham's wild Cub Cadet put on a great show, and took the title in the Super Stock Class.  The Motorcycle class saw a reversal of fortune from Friday night, as Todd Hickerson took the title over Steve Pierce by a margin of less than two feet.  The Outlaw Class, again saw John Aufdenkamp taking his three engine tractor to victory over Todd Hickerson.

The Mini Rod Class tractors were again paced by Thomas Kimmons, with Jerry Toland scoring the runner-up position.  James Moody placed third, while the '99% Moody' entry of Sarah Moody placed fourth.  The Super Rods finished the evening, with James Moody scoring the title.  Sam Carrolll placed second and Donny Mayo followed in third place.  Jerry Toland placed his 'Dodge This' tractor in fourth place, with Randall Moody  and the 'Ridge Runner' placing fifth.  Tyler McCarley rounded out the top of the Super Rod tractor class.

The next LSGTPA tractor pulling event will be August 11 at the Bill Halter Memorial Tractor Pull in Blue Ridge, Texas.  Visit thewww.LSGTPA.com for details and directions.
