LSGTPA Season Finale Help-A-Child Benefit Pull Results

The 2016 LSGTPA tractor pulling season finale was conducted at the Hopkins County Regional Civic Center facility in Sulphur Springs, Texas.  Forty pulling teams from across the state competed in two rounds of LSGTPA tractor pulling action, as a feature event of the Help-A-Child benefit.  Rocky Young Construction transformed the arena floor into a pulling track surface.   Opening ceremonies featured the 2016 Hopkins County Dairy Festival Queen and performing artist, Sadie Evans, with an outstanding National Anthem performance.

LSGTPA Youth Class competitors would take to the track first, with Rinn Mayberry scoring the victory aboard the 'Old Yeller' tractor of Claude Lewis.  Lane Duncan would pilot his 'Twisted Kitty' tractor into the runnerup position, and would wheel his 'Texas T-Rex' tractor to a third place podium finish.  Jared Stephan would take his 'Iron Head' machine to a fourth place run for the Moody Pulling Team.  Jacob Hovind would score a top five finish aboard his 'Yes Deere' tractor for the Mean Green Pulling Team.  Kimberlee Stephan would pilot her Moody Pulling Team entry to a sixth place finish.

In Stock Class, Claude Lewis would score the victory aboard 'Old Yeller'.  Jimmy Helfferich would place second in the field, with Steve McCarley taking the third place spot.  James Helfferich would pull to a fourth place finish, in the very close field of Stock Class tractors.  In Hot Stock Class action, Kody Langham would score the win aboard his Longhorn Express Pulling Team entry.  Mason Hovind would score the runnerup aboard his 'Yes Deere' entry.  John Aufdenkamp would pilot his 'Rusteze' machine to a third place finish, with Jimmy Helfferich pulling to a top five finish.

In Stock Diesel Class, Ken Langham, Jr. would take the top spot for the Longhorn Express Pulling Team.  Patrick Bramlett would pull into the number two spot, aboard his 'Warhog' tractor.  Aidan Hovind would take the third place podium position, aboard his Mean Green Pulling Team entry.  James Helfferich would pull to a fourth place finish on the night.

Big Stock Class tractors were paced by Gary Bramlett, pulling to the win aboard his 'Amuck' tractor.  Jerry Toland would pilot his 'Triple Deuce' machine to a runnerup finish.  Kolby Langham and his BSC 'Texas Thunder' tractor would place third in the class.  James and Jimmy Helfferich would score fourth and fifth place finishes aboard their team tractors, with John Aufdenkamp posting a sixth place finish for the Outlaw Pulling Team.

Stock Altered Class saw Michael Mayberry taking the win aboard his 'Pulling For Peanuts' entry, suffering drive line damage on the winning pull.  In Super Stock Class, John Aufdenkamp would post two great pulls to score the win aboard his alcohol burning 'Under The Influence' tractor.  In Outlaw Class, Paul Smith would wheel his 'Texan' tractor to the victory, with Steve Pierce pulling to a runnerup finish aboard his 'Buzzards Roost' machine.

In a wild Mini Rod Class performance, Colby Crowe would take the win aboard his 'Weekend Warrior' tractor.  Jerry Toland would pull to the runnerup position, aboard his 'Shinin Time' machine.  David Houchen piloted his 'Back In The Day' tractor to a third place podium finish.  Paul Smith and his 'Texan' tractor would post a fourth place finish, with Sarah Crowe wheeling her turbocharged diesel, '99% Moody',  to a top five finish on the night.

The Super Rod Class tractors closed the show, with John Kiemele scoring the win aboard his 'Dodge This' tractor.  Randell Moody posted a runnerup scoring aboard his 'Ridge Runner' machine.  Ken Langham and his 'Psycho' tractor would pull into the third place position, for the Longhorn Express Pulling Team.  Steve McCarley would pull to a fourth place finish aboard his 'Scat Cat' machine.

FARMERSVILLE OLD TIME SATURDAY LSGTPA TRACTOR PULL RESULTS

Farmersville, Texas played host to the Lone Star Garden Tractor Pullers Association, for a two round tractor pulling event, as a feature of the Old Time Saturday festival.  The annual event draws festival fans and pulling teams from across the area, for a Saturday full of fun and entertainment.


Clint Parker of Racers For Christ delivered the invocation during LSGTPA opening ceremonies, followed by an awesome National Anthem performance by Victoria Leigh.  James Moody had prepared a great 200 foot track for the competitors, upon which the Youth Class competitors would start the show.  Tatom Robinson would lead the pack, aboard the 'Yes Deere' tractor.  Lane Duncan placed second, aboard his 'Twisted Kitty' tractor.  Jared Stephan would pull to a third place finish, aboard his 'Ironhead' tractor.  Lane Duncan would return to steer his 'Texas T-Rex' tractor into the fourth place position.  Kimberlee Stephan would pull to a top five finish, aboard her Moody Pulling Team entry.  Tatom Robinson would post a sixth place finish aboard 'Lil Digger', and finished seventh aboard his BSC machine.


The Stock Class title was taken by Steve McCarley, with James Helfferich posting the runnerup finish.  Claude Lewis finished in the third place podium spot, with Jimmy Helfferich pulling to a fourth place finish in the class.  In Hot Stock competition, John Aufdenkamp would take the victory aboard his 'Rusteze' machine.  Kody Langham pulled to the runnerup position aboard his Longhorn Express Pulling Team machine.  Mason Hovind posted a top three finish aboard the 'Yes Deere' tractor, with Kolby Langham placing fourth.  Jimmy Helfferich would pull to a top five finish.


In Diesel Class competition, Patrick Bramlett would lead the field with the top honors aboard his 'Warthog' tractor.  Steve Hovind would pull to the runnerup position for the Mean Green Pulling Team.  Jeff Robinson would post a top three finish, with James Helfferich finishing in fourth.

FARMERSVILLE OLD TIME SATURDAY HOSTS LSGTPA TRACTOR PULL

The Old Time Saturday festival in Farmersville, Texas will host the Lone Star Garden Tractor Pulling Association teams, on October 1st.  LSGTPA tractor pulling teams from throughout the state and beyond, will converge on the Rike Street Park Pulling Track, for two rounds of tractor pulling action.  Contested on a 200 foot track, drivers and machines will push it to the limit to pull the 8500 pound LSGTPA sled.

Ten classes of tractors, ranging from the entertaining Youth Class to the wild Super Rod Class tractors, will shake the ground with horsepower during the 3 hour show.

The action starts at 12 noon, with opening ceremonies to feature  Texas performing artist Victoria Leigh, with the National Anthem presentation.

BARTLETT OLD TOWN FESTIVAL PULL RESULTS

Bartlett, Texas was founded in 1881, as a station stop on the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway Company.  Rail service was provided for the regional cotton industry, and the town of Bartlett grew to become a shipping hub for area farmers and ranchers.  The MKT railway stop would become the sixth stop on the Lone Star Garden Tractor Pulling Association tour in 2016.

LSGTPA teams rolled into Bartlett as a feature event of the Old Town Festival weekend, and would compete in two rounds of tractor pulling action at high noon.  Alton Degner prepared a 200 foot track for the pullers, along side the historic railroad tracks leading into downtown.  Rebecca Beam would perform our National Anthem to commence the show.

LSGTPA Youth Class competitors would take to the track first, with Tatom Robinson leading the pack aboard the 'Yes Deere' tractor.  Jared and Kimberlee Stephan would pair up aboard the 'Iron Head' tractor, to place second and third.  Lane Duncan would pilot his 'Texas T-Rex' tractor to a fourth place finish, with Rinn Mayberry scoring a top five finish.  Tatom Robinson would pull to a sixth place finish, with Lane Duncan steering his 'Twisted Kitty' into the seventh place position.  Tatom Robinson would score eighth aboard his 'Lil Digger' machine.

In Stock Class, Claude Lewis would score the victory.  In Hot Stock, Kody Langham would take the top honors for the Longhorn Express Pulling Team.  John Aufdenkamp would take the runnerup position aboard his 'Rusteze' tractor.  Kolby Langham would score third on the podium, aboard the Bonham Servce Center tractor.  Steve Hovind would place fourth aboard his 'Yes Deere' tractor.

LSGTPA TEAMS SET FOR BARTLETT OLD TOWN FESTIVAL

LSGTPA tractor pulling teams from across the Lone Star state will converge on Bartlett, Texas for two rounds of exciting tractor pulling action on September 17.  The event will be held as a feature of the Old Town Festival, in down town  Bartlett.  Tractor pulling action is scheduled for a 12noon start.
